Wattamolla Beach is a destination where idyllic scenes of blue, calm waters, waterfalls and rainforests have converged into one location. Located in the Royal National Park, visitors will need to pay a small entrance fee to get to the beach. From there, you can access all different kinds of walking tracks, or spend the entire day posted up at the beach. Once you arrive in the area, you’ll find endless opportunities to immerse yourself in nature. The Wattamolla Waterfall cascades down into the lagoon, and visitors can head to the top to catch a view of the of waters below.
The waterfall will spill into the Wattamolla Lagoon, a great place for swimming with children and snorkelling as the waters are very calm. From there you can walk to Wattamolla Beach, which has a unique geographical position, having sand on both sides. Although generally calm, be cautious of rip tides and currents as the beach is not patrolled.
