Pippi Beach

Pippi Beach, New South Wales, Australia

Named after the shellfish which call it home, Pippi Beach is one of the most popular in Yamba, and it’s easy to see why. With idyllic white sand and tempting turquoise water, this is the place to be on a hot day.

One of the main draws of Pippi Beach is the crashing beach breaks that make it the most popular surfing beach in Yamba. Enjoy picturesque views as you ride the waves towards the shore. Pippi also hosts the Pippi Beach Classic, an annual summer surfing contest.

Swimming can delight in the inviting waters at the north end of the beach, which is patrolled during the summer holidays. At the southern end, you will find an off-leash area where your four-legged friend can play. Beach driving is also allowed along the southern end for 4WD vehicles.

Anglers are reeled in with opportunities to fish for pippis, flathead, bream, and tailor.
