North Coast Regional Botanic Garden
Discover an enchanting world of lush exotic rainforest plants at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden. Located in stunning Coffs Harbour, the garden was listed as the second best botanic garden in Australia by National geographic in 2018, and it’s easy to see why. Explore 20 hectares of scenic forest and gardens, housing 5KM of walkways and boardwalks, a unique array of native and exotic flora, and a beautiful Japanese garden with a tranquil lake at its centre. Coffs Creek surrounds the botanic garden on three sides.
You will also find an information shop where you can purchase a tempting range of souvenirs and plants, as well as a cafe where you can enjoy lunch or coffee in sensational surroundings. As well as providing an enjoyable and educational day out, the gardens play a large role in conserving rare and threatened plant species. Check their website for their event calendar.
