Main Beach Yamba
Yamba’s delightful main beach has long been a favourite amongst visitors and locals alike. With an ocean swimming pool at one end, idyllic white sand, and worthy surf breaks, it’s easy to see why. Not to mention its prime location beneath an iconic hotel and easy disabled access makes getting here a breeze.
Beach breaks can be variable here with a moderate swell, yet surfers still flock here. The waves are generally suitable for beginners however caution is advised around the rocks. At the centre of the beach, you will find one of the oldest surf live savers clubs in the state.
Main Beach is a lovely spot for a swim, particularly as it is patrolled on weekends and during school holidays however swimmers are strongly advised to remain between the flags. The natural swimming pool offers a scenic alternative.
Anglers love to fish for bream, tailor, and jewfish off the rocks.
