Lennox Head Beach

Lennox Head NSW, Australia

Seven Mile Beach in Lennox Head is renowned for its world-class right-hand point break. It was declared a National Surfing Reserve in 2007, as surfers flocked from far and wide to ride the famous wave. The break is beautiful to look at yet powerful to ride, making it best suited to experienced surfers. This is the home of the Lennox Longboard Classic, an annual event held in August.

Not only is Lennox Head heaven for surfers, but visitors also love hang-gliding and para-gliding over the beautiful beach, turquoise waters, and spectacular surrounding scenery. Wander along the Lennox Head Boardwalk, a scenic trail leading up to Pat Morton Lookout to spot dolphins and migrating humpback whales.

Swimming and fishing are also popular pastimes here, and when your stomach starts to rumble you can enjoy lunch in the picnic area. When you’re tired from walking and water sports, relax on the golden sand to the sound of crashing waves.
