Katoomba Falls

Katoomba Falls is a beautifully scenic waterfall set between Echo Point and Scenic World in the Blue Mountains. If you’d like to stay a night or two near Katoomba Falls, Katoomba Falls Tourist Park has cabins along with powered and unpowered camping sites available.
Just a short walk from Three Sisters and Katoomba town, the trail takes you through thick rainforest and leads you to the cascading waterfall. This short walking circuit brings views across Jamison Valley for you to experience. The Echo Point to Katoomba Falls walk is a moderate track, 3.1 kilometres return and about an hour and a half in total. The trail takes you past numerous lookouts and brings sweeping views across Blue Mountains National Park. It is an excellent walk for a shorter route, highlighting the dramatic landscape and some of the most beautiful views of the Katoomba area. The walk becomes even more impressive as it leads you to Katoomba Falls, nestled under the Katoomba Park. Stop and watch the water flow down the rocks and into the stream. For an alternative route, take the Prince Henry Scenic Walk, about three to four hours in total. You will reach the top of the falls with views across Jamison Valley, again with many vantage points.
Katoomba Falls is nearby to the Three Sisters, and on the track, you’ll see the rock formations in the distance. Once you’ve experienced the falls, take the Katoomba Scenic Skyway - a cable car carrying visitors across the valley, to soak up views of the Three Sisters.
