Fly Point

Located between Nelson Bay and Little Beach, Fly Point is heaven for snorkelers and divers, with a vibrant and varied world just below the surface of the water. From the dry land of Fly Point Park, you can enjoy magnificent views of the beautiful bay from shaded grassy areas, as well as a barbeque or picnic with the facilities provided.

Dip your head below the water to be greeted by a colourful array of fish or all shapes and sizes. The sea bed is lined with a rainbow of sponges, corals and sea grass. There’s plenty for snorkelers to see, from octopuses to wobbegongs, sea hairs and dolphins. The diving area is vast, with an even larger variety of marine life to observe.

Fly Point aquatic reserve is one of the best spots in the state for divers and snorkelers, demanding a place on all New South Wales itineraries.
