Clovelly Beach

Clovelly Beach, Clovelly NSW, Australia

Clovelly Beach sits between two rocky ridges; like an oasis between concrete platforms and promenades. Part of one of the many beaches on the Bondi to Coogee walk, Clovelly is a very family friendly beach.

Spend hours paddling in the saltwater pool or enjoy lunch at the Sea Salt Cafe. Great for families and swimmers in search of crystal clear water. Take the stairs into the 25 x 6-metre ocean pool, with street parking, public toilets and changing facilities all at your disposal.

After a day at the beach, enjoy a sunset drink at the Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club. The beach is patrolled in the warmer months from September through until April, and while the beach may be surrounded by concrete, it is still an incredible place to swim. Visibility underwater is incredibly high, making it an excellent place for snorkelers to experience underwater marine life. Bring your goggles or grab some snorkelling gear from a shop nearby to get lost in the beauty underwater. For the best diving experience, on the other side of the car park take the Gordon’s Bay Underwater Nature Trail entrance, made up of 500 metres of underwater chain to guide divers across the reef and sand flats, set between Clovelly and Coogee.

Clovelly Beach is a great place for the whole family, with its pristine water and amenities surrounding the beach, set up for the day and enjoy the beautiful sunshine and seaside.
